The Golden Retriever stole my heart. We found a great breeder in Eastern Idaho and fell in love with our little Lola. Lola was the smallest of her litter. She also inherited the facial features of her mother. Within a few weeks we were able to bring our little bundle of red headed energy home. Bella wasn't too sure what this needle teethed play thing was...but it wasn't too long before Bella was playing. Something that we'd not seen in years. Lola gave Bella a few months of active play. They would wrestle and snuggle. It was wonderful to see Bella happy again after losing Ulla.

Sadly Bella deteriorated and she also had to be relieved of her pain. Lola, had some anxiety as an only dog. Our children couldn't get her cheered up. She was kind of being bullied by the neighbor dog, he'd walk along the fence and growl at our kids which made Lola come out of her skin. Soon we found a breeder and met our Crosby.

Lola wasn't sure what to think of this little blondie at first. She was so accustomed to other dogs being rude. This little guy wanted to play, snuggle and eat her food.
He has been a great pup. He loves to dig in the yard. He enjoys walking and running. He absolutely loves playing with our children and anyone who comes over. Playing fetch is his favorite, and he can fit 3 tennis balls in his mouth.
Crosby grew quickly. He made us a bit nervous at first because he grew in such a wonky way...but over the year he's evened out. He's an active boy, but loves to snuggle and be brushed.
Now we've got our first litter. We have not entered into the breeding circle lightly.
It is my dream to own a piece of land, and provide a home to Golden's who have seen better days. I'd love to one day board pups, as well as have a few more litters in the next few years. I'm certainly not in a hurry to put my girl through this again. From 0200 to 1000 Lola delivered 10 healthy pups. My 16yo was present for every single delivery.
As I learn how to run this blog, I'll share with you our puppies, our dogs, and our children.
Thanks for coming to visit!
